In the first round of this legal scuffle, Warner’s request was cancelled as Disney had filed the request first. However, further court hearings have now given the trademark to Warners. As Warner Bros own the rights to the Original Judy Garland movie, it was deemed to the only fitting that any follow-up production would only be viable because of the first.

I wonder where this leaves Disney’s planned production of “Oz, The great and Powerful” now. Anyone want to volunteer and tell director by Sam Raimi that he may not be needed on this one?

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph.” Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Step Brothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy.  He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.

On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.  Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late?                    “Wreck-It Ralph” crashes onto the big screen on November 2, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

This project is using some of the new technology that Disney is playing with. RFID tags are concealed in your key card which will allow the game to remember you as and when you play. Guests can also play and collect up to 70 different spell card. Each having a slightly different impact in the game.

La Luna is the timeless fable of a young boy who is coming of age in the most peculiar of circumstances. Tonight is the very first time his Papa and Grandpa are taking him to work. In an old wooden boat they row far out to sea, and with no land in sight, they stop and wait. A big surprise awaits the little boy as he discovers his family’s most unusual line of work. Should he follow the example of his Papa, or his Grandpa? Will he be able to find his own way in the midst of their conflicting opinions and time worn traditions?

Don’t worry about it any more, there are plans to give the attraction Added Zebras. Unfortunately this comes at a cost. You know that little elephant at the end of the attraction in the jeep, “little red”? He’s for the chop. Feedback has shown that the poacher story is getting lost on park guests. Guests are more interested in seeing the animals than chasing poachers. So work has started to remove this final scene and add a savannah view of Zebras.

It will still be interesting to find out if they tweak the story of the attraction.

Work should be complete by Fall 2012.
